The Fred Hollows Foundation - restoring sight around the world

I’m taking on a challenge to walk 250km this August. My goal is to raise a minimum of $1000 for The Fred Hollows Foundation to continue the legacy of one innovative Ophthalmologist and Australian legend, Fred Hollows.

90% of children and older people who are effectively legally blind, due to Cataract, don’t need to be. One cataract operation costs around $25AUD in Africa and Vietna. So by raising $1000, we can help restore sight to some 40 people who are needlessly 'blind', and change their life.
