Footsteps for Fred

I've set myself the goal of walking at least 60 kilometers throughout the month of August as my contribution to Fred's Big Fun Run 🏃‍♀️

My goal is to raise a minimum $500 for The Fred Hollows Foundation to continue the legacy of the Aussie legend himself, Professor Fred Hollows.

Right now, 9 out of 10 people who are blind don’t need to be, because an operation that costs as little as $25 can help restore their sight and change their lives forever.

The Fred Hollows Foundation has been close to my heart for almost 30 years, ever since I did a school project about Professor Hollows AC and his tireless work to restore the vision of those less fortunate when I was just 12 years old. His legacy and commitment to his purpose is an inspiration that must be upheld through campaigns such as this.
