Preparing for fred's big run
As an amateur runner that has never attempted something this big, I've decided that the best way to tackle the challenge is to start planning early - and working on my stamina and recovery habits prior to the challenge starting. I've officially mapped out my KM goals for the month of August, and am beginning to slowly increase my small daily runs. Current goal is to complete 2.5-3km daily across 2-3 consecutive days, with plans to increase to 2 smaller runs each day for 2 consecutive days with a rest in between Yew!I’m stepping up to restore sight!

My goal is to raise funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation to continue the legacy of an Australian legend, Fred Hollows.
Because right now, 9 out of 10 people who are blind don’t need to be...
And an operation that costs as little as $25 can help restore sight to someone who is needlessly blind, and change their life forever!
