More than halfway!

Despite terrible weather, I've managed to get to about two thirds of my goal distance by today, August 18. Having a goal and a good cause to work towards has definitely got me pushing myself when it would have been way too easy to say, it's miserable outside, I will stay home.

As I am Sydney-based, I signed up in advance for the Bay Run, a 7 km run along the ParramattaRiver and over the Iron Cove Bridge. That was August 3, and it got me 7 km towards my goal, which was a good psychological boost. Getting soaked is more fun in a crowd!

Some of my kilometres have been done in the gym, and I am glad that I have that option.
